Junior Badminton Academy session Info

Welcome to the Junior Badminton Academy

We are a formally structured junior club with mandatory club uniform, high level code of conduct, punctuality and discipline.

Arrival and Departure
Ensure to arrive at-least 10 minutes before the starting time. and signed in.
Late arrivals or early finish will not be accepted unless pre-arranged with the office.
Unfortunately, it's not possible to include anyone in the session who arrive very late 
All players must stay until the end of session and we do not allow players leaving early or parents wanting to take the child away before the end of session time without prior arrangement.

Session Start/End Times
Weekdays 5PM - 7PM.
Saturday:  9.30 - 11.30AM, 11.30 - 1.30PM, 2.30 - 4.30 PM

What to wear
Club shirt and appropriate sport short/skirt
pajamas, inappropriate cloths not allowed.
Non-Marking indoor shoes mandatory

What to Bring
Racquet,
Water bottle
Any snacks for the session Break 2 - 5 Minutes only

What Not to bring
Any IPADs, electronic play equipment, any expensive items
Phone must be used only to contact parents before/after session.

What do we teach/do during session?
Warm up and fitness  exercises, basic skills, game play, drills, assessment games, Ranking
Basic skills taught: Grips, forehand/back hand shot, overhead swing, clear, drop, services, basic footwork.

Behavior and conduct
We actively monitor and enforce high level of behavior.
Strictly no bad language/signs, No bullying, game manners, discipline & punctuality.
We do take a firm approach to ensure safe and secure place for all levels & ability of children.

Parents:
Parents can stay during the session and watch however they must stay in the clubroom/parents' room.
We kindly ask parents to avoid interacting with children during sessions.
If you have anything to discuss with the coach, please do it either before or after the session.
All dealing for the children outside classes and administration matters must be handled directly by parents.

Basic procedure and Rules of the Junior Academy
Sign In on arrival and self-warm up.
Follow instructions from the monitor display/coach when the buzzer goes.
Move to the allocated court for game or training promptly.
Touch/hanging/going under the net is not allowed.
Racquets must be kept still during non-play.
Any fitness program is mandatory.
Courts must be clear of shuttles/cloth/any items in/around during play.
Stay away from the curtains and no touching/hitting at all times.
Water/Toilets during buzzer times only
No food or drinks during game play
All winning scores must be recorded.
Exit via Parents room at the end of session.
Children must be picked up from assigned safe areas from the car park.
Players are assessed on a weekly basis and ranking is maintained based on player's ability and performance scores.

In case you are not able to attend due to any unexpected reason we would
appreciate early notification. Players may be withdrawn from the session without any refund if they do not attend any session without notification or valid reason.
