All back to normal after Fire broke out on 11 January 2026, 6Pm.
We are pleased to inform all members and players that the centre is back to normal operations following the fire emergency.
Special Thanks to the efficient Fire fighters who turned up within minutes and handled the situation very efficiently and intelligently at the height of 12m from the surrounding properties.
✅ Everyone is safe – no injuries reported
✅ Fire fully contained and building not badly damaged
✅ Centre has been assessed and is safe to use
⚠️ Court Availability
- 1 or 2 courts are temporarily out of use
- Repairs and restoration are already underway and being treated as urgent
- All bookings affected by these courts have been:
- Moved to alternative courts, or
- Rescheduled / refunded where required
🏸 Activities & Programs
- Night senior clubs – running as usual
- Holiday programs – running as usual
- All other regular activities continue without disruption

🧯 Incident Summary
On the evening of 11 January 2026, a fire broke out in the roof area of the centre blue court 13 . Around 60 people were safely evacuated. Approximately 20 - 30 firefighters attended, and the situation was brought under control quickly. The cause is believed to be an overheated electrical fan together with high temperature on the roof outside. .
