All Junior Senior Midweek clubs return to same as before.
Casual and Walk-In court booking of players via Pro-shop return to same as before.
All proshop activities, coaching, etc return to same as before.
All Private court booking, private groups, visitors, spectators continue with the new Normal.
In order to meet requirements of Council and fire safety and precondition of Resource/Building consent/car parking requirement for the expansion project the numbers in the facility need to be strictly monitored and controlled. Further maintaining high hygiene level and free of unauthorized or unknown people in the facility will make the place more safe and secure for all members and specially all children. Juniors have started re-enrolling proactively and sessions are becoming very active. Rapid court/club memberships are also happening. Therefore some of the good & new things we learnt from Covid era continue to become our new Normal until reviewed. Table tennis facilities have been upgraded and a New Badminton Gym is in the process which will require more player traffic to the facility.
The Main changes and the New Normal
Unlike common community Badminton Halls our operation includes Badminton, Table Tennis, Personal Gym, and various businesses.
Unlike common Badminton Clubs all our Badminton club membership activities are very similar to standard Gym operation on a 365 days basis and future memberships will include Badminton/Table Tennis/Gym.
In line with this the Entry procedure has been changed completely similar to a Gym/office operation and direct access is restricted to Members/Registered players/staff/tenants.
Customers/visitors can access courts/offices via staff assistance during staffed hours 9AM – 10PM 365 days.
To have direct access to courts anytime during staffed hours or after hours players must be registered.
Unregistered players can enter or play only during staffed hours via Reception/proshop paying appropriate fees.
All private booking of individual and group accounts players must Self-Check-In at Entry with their CAP(Access code) codes via Mobile.
To those registered players who have no mobile phones/find it difficult to use mobile phone Check-In FREE ID will be provided for scanning.
Limits on number of players/court as per the membership type will be strictly monitored and enforced.
All center and private badminton activities will be based on 6 or less players/court
The facility will be professionally cleaned daily and hygienically cleaned twice a day.
Health & Safety measures will be closely monitored and improved.
Player’s role of keeping courts clean/tidy, rubbish handling will be strictly monitored and implemented.
All children will continue mandatory sanitizing and adults will continue self sanitizing optionally.
Physical distance of 1 m will be promoted regardless of any Covid Level and maintained as a new Norm as much as possible.
All card holders must register their players(if not done so far) and get access codes prior to making any court booking.
Registering players/family members with any Account holder/group is FREE as long as its within the numbers permitted by the type of account.
Each account holder is able to register from 8 players and more depending on the type of membership and Access codes are provided to players FREE if approved by account holders.
Unregistered players/Non CAP holders /Visitors /excess players to the limit if approved to join any group will play casual fee as follows.
Junior club: $15, Senior night club: $10, Senior day club : $5, private group play: $5,

Private Card Holder:
Send an email to admin@badmintonnz.co.nz to register/list all your players.(If not done so far)
Next get yourself & your players to apply and get individual CAP codes and a 5 digit group code to get access to the facility FREE.

Everyone must Self-check-in on arrival with their respective codes. How to do that???
Strictly ensure you have the correct maximum number of players on court in relation to your membership. All players must have authorized entry. -
Regular Players Invited by Card Holder
Make sure your account holder has registered your name with their account.
Apply and get a CAP code (2 minutes to apply online, code provided same or next business day if filled out properly).
Make sure you walk in with your QR code which has your CAP code next to the surname.(eg: Peter Smith RP287)
Enter the 5 digit group code(provided by your account holder) and self check-in on arrival (5 sec process). -
Unregistered account holders or Players Invited by Card Holders
You can only enter when the proshop is open and staff is available. (delays expected)
Make sure the account holder has pre-arranged your arrival with staff and you know what court and the time.
Walk in with personal QR code, get scanned, Pay $5 and gain a one off entry.
**Court lights will be switched off remotely and personal lighting accounts will be suspended if any unauthorized persons found on any courts.**
