Court booking Policy, Price Review

Due to major construction works, covid protection framework and council requirements and conditions  the centre was significantly restricted for number of people in the facility and the number of vehicles allowed to park in and around the facility. However we have survived through with barcode and various system during this time.

Since Govt has officially removed all covid protection network and our major construction has successfully passed the major works we are now making changes to remove all possible restrictions on court bookings and facility usage.

These changes are also in preparation to start operating all 22 badminton courts and the Table tennis courts etc  early next year.

These changes will be effective from 1st Nov 2022

1. Price Review:

The cost of operating facility has significantly increased and also forced us to recover significant loss incurred during covid full lock down time. However overall cost to members will be same or even lower in view of the change of policy.

Card holder  court rates:
Peak time: $20/hr ( This is $5 lower than the similar facility in Auckland)
Off peak time: $12/hr (No Change)
At present most groups have been paying 20+/hr including visitor fee and player registrations etc

Casual/Walk-In court Rates: No change.
Online: Peak:$28/hr  off peak $16/hr
Walk-In : Peak $30/hr, Off peak  $18/hr 

2. Policy Review
Account holders can bring any players upto 7/court including visitors.
There will be no more barcode/scanning required.
There are no designated players or fixed group required to get a lighting card.
There will be no visitor fee or player registration fee.
Lighting card is required to Switch ON the lights and open the door (at the end of construction works)
Only players invited by  card holders are allowed to enter the facility.
Walk-In member booking will be made available at the center public computer.
Multicourt booking with varying duration will be permitted.
Group players will be permitted to use the card if allowed by the card holder.
A family card can be used by anyone from the family.
Coaching card will be introduced and price will be updated.
Casual booking cards will be made available for direct online booking..
Cost of lighting cards and options will be updated .
Number of players/court and any misuse of the facility will be strictly monitored and enforced.
Limited number of cards will be issued at the discretion of the management.

These changes will save significant amount of money to compensate the court hourly rate increase.
